And there it is (a WEB.2.0, twitter look) freelance site where every service have one fixed price of 4$, 9$ or 19$. This is a different concept and looks very appealing. Graphic artists and designers are lucky because their services are always needed. There is a constant demand for company or product logos and You can look for projects on a logo contest sites. On some of these sites You can even sell the logos and logo concepts You've made before.

Another good freelancing site I've joined a couple of years and completely forgot about it (unfortunatelly). It offers most of the features like other freelancer sites but not so well known.

I'm sure you have an extensive knowledge and experience in a particular area. Its a pity not profit from your knowledge. I'm sure you have used the Yahoo!Answers to show your expertize and made a public recognition, as I did by the way. But Yahoo!Answers not pay for your solutions an the only satisfaction is the feeling good for helping people and rank acquired.

Here comes FixYa. After a free registration, you complete your profile and areas of expertize and start answering questions/solving problems. As you answer more questions your rank grows. After 50 answers and achived rating of 80% or more you get an "A Premium Expert Rank" and may solve problems and get paid for every succesful solution on paid answer asked. Ammount earned depends on how many problems are solved and a method of communication (less for answers thru e-mail, more for chat and best paid is support thru phone). But to achieve this you must be a real expert in your field and answer at least 10 free solutions monthly.

Elance is one of the oldest freelance sites established in 1999. It has great features as notification on projects and have a customized time tracking software for projects billed by hour. As a minus is that as a free member you have only 10 bids/connects per month. To increase this number you'll have to upgrade membership. Anyhow, this is a great site and one of the best places for freelancers searching for projects.

A week ago after visiting the one of the oldest freelance sites - RentACoder.com, I've been redirected to vWorker.com. The interface of the site stays same (a bit different from other freelancer sites).
